Tairua Wine and Food Festival

A huge celebration of food, wine, arts and crafts
The Tairua Wine and Food festival is a ritual amongst holidaymakers in the Tairua and Pauanui area. Over 10,000 people flock to the festival each year. A huge array of wild food stalls, wine, beer, entertainment and of course stacks of arts and crafts stalls. The event raises money towards facilities at the local school.

Concert In the Orchard

Stunning Setting, Swinging Sounds
You can't get a better setting than this. Set on a natural ampitheatre near Pauanui three hours of music from The Shy & Retiring Company. Comprises lead singers David McMeeking & Robyn McGregor who have a wide repertoire of songs backed by a superb sound system. All proceeds go to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Trust.

Brits at the Beach

Come and check out the inaugural "Brits at the Beach" festival !

Loads of themed events including a British Car & Bike Parade, a British Trade Fair, a Classic British Drive-In Movie, British "Sound-a-Like" Bands, Stand Up Comics, a Fashion Parade based on British Designers from the 60's Onwards, British Themed Nights & British Food on the Menus !

Whangamata Beach Hop

Rock N Roll Festival. The Whangamata Beach Hop is a celebration of the 50's and 60's which attracts between 40,000 and 80,000 people each year. The highlight of the festival is over 1200 beautifully restored hot rods and classic cars, which take part in a grand parade, and other cruises to beaches up the coastline.

Whitianga Scallop Festival

Pure indulgence!
A weekend long celebration of Coromandel seafood and cuisine. Book your tickets now for the festival marquee which will be located on the Marina Reserve between 10am and 5pm Saturday. Over 30 food and wine stalls, cooking demo’s, loads of competitions and great entertainment! On Friday and Saturday nights Whitianga’s restaurants and café’s will be cooking up a storm and hosting some great entertainment too.

Coromandel Classic Multisport

Two day mutlisport event A two-day multisport challenge traversing both coasts of the central Coromandel, including mountain and road biking, trail running and kayaking. From weekend warriors to some of New Zealands top athletes can be seen slogging it out against the backdrop of the Coromandel ranges.
